Cameron strikes me as someone who wants to keep the peace and not get involved in any disagreements. He would rather take the hit in other words stay quiet rather than cause hassle.

Its a kind thing for him to do, but at the same time by doing that he is not getting his point across and allowing for Jenny and perhaps others to get what they want.

I think we need to remember why he went in there, he is a self confessed introvert and is not great in social situations, he is not going to suddenly find himself the life and soul of the party, and if he did I would call that pretty fake, I think he has been pretty true to himself, I think he is crushed by Jenny attacking him in a group setting and revealing personal things he told her in confidence, its doubtful he is going to turn into someone who takes her on in a head to head
