Unless BB just aren’t showing it, she seems to be the only one to actually tell Caroline to her face she is being ridiculous with the Richard hate and to get over it. The rest just seem to joke about it.

You’d think at least Zelah would be more forthcoming with his opinions into Caroline.

Sticking your head out of the trenches is asking to get shot
And at the end pf the day Richard is a grow man and is capable of standing up for himself but if you playing the long game let the other person who is being nasty talk them self into getting voted out

the likes of Zelah have their pet causes, but they don't give an f about anything else because that doesn't earn them points in their social media bubble

Richard is a grown man, but it's becoming too much like lord of the flies to be comfortable

It’s a game at the end of the day for a big payday

No one really gives a flying fcuk about strangers

He is a grown man but Caroline won’t let it go. Says a lot when the youngest housemate is the one to really challenge her.

I’d say that not being old enough to realise she is in a game

You are missing the point here ben
Bb doesn’t want people to get on they not only want but create conflict

…I don’t think that Ben is missing the point, it doesn’t matter how much BB may create …some housemates rise abound those manipulations and are able to create their own shine in terms of personality…BB though, haven’t created Caroline’s vendetta against Richard, that’s very much self motivated, I would say…and an interesting thing that…(…although it’s become such a noticeable thing …)…the youngest person in the house is the one that’s speaking out about it for a much older housemate to ‘move on…’…and as Elsa would say, let it go…

Didn't she also vote him as the one the house would least miss? I don't buy her cover of only trying to match Caroline's answer.

Zelah also commented on the prolonged animosity, for what it's worth, saying that she'd been bringing up the eyeball thing for three solid weeks now.

Who do you think is benefiting from Caroline’s behaviour

Plain and simple it’s Richard by being the victim it is keeping in the house because otherwise he is a boring little man

And what’s going to happen to Caroline ? She will get voted out

I think Caroline and Richard have both been great for the show. I do agree with Caroline that there is a touch of Alfred E. Neuman-esque 'What, me?' naughtiness lying there under the mild-mannered grandad routine. Though not to the extent that she seems to believe. I think he's starting to enjoy the feud as an excuse to indulge in that cheeky part of himself.

No I get your point lol. This isn’t about BB producers though. I’m pointing out Teja is the only one standing up for him. If others were playing the game they’d stand up for him to be seen as ‘standing up for him.

…well Caroline is thinking/hoping that she is……she doesn’t and hasn’t seen Richard as a victim, so far as I can see…hence why she seems a bit baffled at how she feels as though she’s being portrayed to the outside viewers…she doesn’t seem to have any self awareness of it being her own behaviour that is the ‘portrayal’ and distancing that behaviour into throwing it all BB’s way as ‘their fault’….maybe she is realising that now but I don’t think she is and I think that she’s just too wrapped up in her head about Richard and so will carry on/and convincing herself that she’s providing entertainment…(…which obviously she is…)…it’s just also (…for me…)…not a great look for her…

Oh they’ve been two of a handful who’ve carried this fairly lacklustre season. Personally they both deserve to be in the final week.

What do those housemates owe Richard? Nothing
He could be voting for any of them next time it comes to nominations

And Richard could be playing all of you

…you may be totally correct about that but other than the very beginning with his eyeball supremacy, all he’s had to defend the attacks is that little touch of naughtiness …it’s been his only super power, while Caroline has had immunity as hers and I’m thinking also will put him up in a replace move…in a turnaround and trading places situation, I’m thinking that Caroline may have displayed much more than a naughty vibe…

i think you are missing my point. We all approach BB with an expectation of what we will get out of it. Some may like happy families, others constant arguments. I'm actually not invested in any of it so i couldn't really care who stays or goes, wins or loses

Not really. There’s been episodes where I’ve switched off half way through. ;)

Good for you.

I’m semi-invested in BB this year enough to currently stick with it on/off. It hasn’t quite reached the level of C5 BB’s yet to make me switch off completely. It’s been close, though.

I don’t think anyone is really invested

I’m a factual person, the facts are it’s a game show with a cash prize with a production team calling the shots

That’s how I base my opinions if it was real life my opinions would be different

My reading of it is that Richard realised he'd been outgambitted on the eyeballs gimmick, but realising that a spark had been lit re: Caroline's suspicions of his character, was content to fall back on a more traditional method of playing the game, i.e., leaning heavily into his butter wouldn't melt persona, knowing full well it'd drive the highly impulsive Caroline mad and cause her to attack him further and make him look like the victim. A bullshitter knows a bullshitter imo. They've both played their respective games really well. None of this is to say I think Richard's a total fake btw. Just that I think he's out to win and is tactically emphasising certain spects of his character in order to further tease Caroline's negativity out.

I don't find Richard boring at all. Yes Richard is benefiting from Caroline's behaviour, she's nasty and spiteful and it does suggest she's pretty stupid.

I wouldn’t say she’s stupid to be fair. I believe she’s playing a game, which to be fair is benefitting them both as we’re talking about them both a lot more than most other HM’s.

Of course she's playing a game they all are it's a game show. I just think she's playing the wrong game, if she did't have this vendetta against Richard which is making her look nasty, there could be a chance of her winning, but she just won't let it go and it will be her down fall.
