Back in 1975 in Fawlty Towers
Ugh that's a shame. I was rewatching Fawlty Towers just recently. I always kind of fancied her over Polly, truth be told. She had great chemistry with Cleese and was a great foil. R.I.P.
93 is a great age. Can you imagine if Basil had to put up with Sybil all those years

It still blows my mind it’s one of the greatest shows and only had 12 episodes.
What's everyone's favourite episode? The Germans is obviously genius, but I think my personal favourite might be The Psychiatrist. It's not my reason for picking it, but incidentally it does have some of Sybil's best moments, including one where she quite literally knocks Basil off his feet when she thinks he's perving over a pretty young Australian guest.

…they were all so genius and with only 12 episodes, they were all such highlights as well…the Gourmet Night is one I recall particularly because ‘car trouble’ and rage at that car is just so relatable…people, yeah no worries…but A CAR or any inanimate object that won’t comply and we’ve all turned into Basils….

I love ‘The Anniversary’. It’s the one I always remember scenes from the most.
