Rule-breaking

I just caught up with the past two episodes and it's honestly so baffling how immature these housemates are :unsure:

Completely unable to commit to a task that lasts 5 hours, constantly stealing stuff either from the store, last week's luxury supplies, people's pizza parties, or whatever...

I get that the intention from producers is probably "if we keep tempting them, they'll break the rules and then we can wheel out this ****ing lame prison cage or jam jars that maybe some children watching will find funny" but god it's just so dull every episode being:

Big Brother: This is the rule of this task / reward.
Jenny / Sam / Caroline: I think I'll just help myself to pizza because it gives me airtime.
Big Brother: BAD JENNY :oh: GIVE ME 10 EYES NOW but you still get your phone-call home because we want to farm social media clips of relatable #emotional content

IT'S SO TEDIOUS

Either commit to a full week of no hot water, put everyone who breaks the rules up for eviction, or strip their rights to nominate away.

Not even mentioning the hundreds of times they've discussed nominations because I don't actually mind that, it at least stirs up conflict and hostility, but when it's just "hahahaha i can't be bothered to do this task for 2 hours, I need to live my life and sit still in the snug for 2 hours instead" it's insufferable

…(…I think with the rule breaks…)…that back in the day/in the linger seasons, it all left room for evolving in that if a rule was broken through nomination talk or whatever…?…then everyone could go up for eviction as a punishment…remember the Siavash era…:laugh:…when all of the housemates endlessly faced eviction…and that then creates a situation/a reason for a rule breaker to be a nomination target…it all just flow, doesn’t it and what created the interest … it now with the new style BB…?…they just don’t allow for that in their running time…(…is how it’s feeling…)…that they have a format/a schedule and they just don’t deviate from that by allowing for rule breaks and that they’re ’planned eviction’ and voting for my differ because a whole house has faced eviction and that wasn’t planned…I’m a bit muddly but that makes sense to me…they’re the producers of Love Island and no matter what happens in the in between, it all keeps to that schedule and format, doesn’t it…so yeah, it’s just not working…put you in jail/ban your hot tub and no hair appliance use….its pointless…
