She did say that she literally just saw her mom 2 weeks ago though, I think it's probably more so the emotions of seeing the letter being shredded rather than her not getting it

…yeah it was just a reaction, I think…others around her were reacting/it was something that no one wants to see/a letter from home being shredded…and I think it’s a natural thing as well …(…in the moment…)…of absorbing the vibe around you as well from others…she seemed fine after that moment and later…:love:..

…actually I’m taking back my lookalike for Emily…(…off topic, I know…)…but she’s a little bit Britney…

On rewatch she seemed really touched by Farida's tears because Emily was smiling but reactive and I think her feelings just got to her. Probably missing her Mom and just seeing the letter being shredded to bits was too much.
