Seeing as this is becoming a trend again with old TV shows being rebooted (such as Scrubs and Malcolm in The Middle), what other shows would you like rebooted?
I’d love to see Sabrina the Teenage Witch rebooted with the original cast showing their lives now.

apparently the soap series As The World Turns is making a small comeback, for a reunion
at least at first for a reunion, and then they'll see how popular it still is, then they can decide about its future

Wasn't there plans for a sort of spin off / sequel called ' Wisteria Lane' ,but it will be all new cast members I guess. As the original characters either left the street or died .

season 4 of Siren (which was a gorgeous series, shame they cancelled it after 3 seasons)
season 2 of Terra Nova, i know it was expensive to make, but honestly it was deffo worth every money spent, almost on par as fantastic as Jurassic Park, also from Spielberg, and the potential for season 2 was definitely there plot wise

Sunset beach and One life to live so I can watch Miss Evangeline be a thot with all the hot men of Llanview in real time. Other than that I don't like reboots. The Beverly Hills 90210 reboot with the original characters of the 90s one was diabolical and the original was one of my faves

I feel that Derry Girls ended too soon too. I think it had at least a couple more series left in it. However I would love it to go to the 2000s and we can see what they were like then growing into adults and having g families etc. Especially with all the magazine gossip and stuff around that time and the pop culture etc, the girls would have loved it all so that would make for a great series!!
Can you imagine them getting panicky about the millennium bug. Their takes on Big Brother and other reality shows, even their take on Nadine Coyle a fellow Derry girl lying about her age. I can imagine a couple of them wanting to audition for a reality show, and them talking about who's getting with who in the celebrity magazines. Yep it needs to be done!

I keep hearing this, that the rest of the seasons were boring and that the ending was disappointing. Makes me want to start it even less

I heard about the ending, seems to me it was one of those shows that they kept dragging on with no real idea of what ending they were going to give it and they rarely are satisfying.

i think Wayward Pines had a few more seasons in it, i mean if they just didn't kill off some of the main cast :fist:
it was a cool series anyway, especially with the abbies

Would love Stars In Their Eyes back on a Saturday night (proper classic format, not the stupid Harry Hill version from a few years back).

OHH don't get me started on the Harry Hil crapfest, he well and truly destroyed what was a fun enjoyable entertaining show. He vomited his silly nonsense all over it, so basically we were just watching another Harry Hill Burp :notimpressed: .
I miss the classic Stars in their eyes .

I keep meaning to binge the whole Derry Girls, only watched the first episode. But the idea of them going into the millennium and the fun that would bring...... sounds like such an interesting plotline , the nostagia would have been good aswell . I wonder why they ended it?. I guess the actors wanted to do other things?, or maybe the writers and producers ran out of steam?.

Oh how could I forget - MINDHUNTER on Netflix. Incredible show that ended way too soon. David Fincher said it cost too much to make for the ratings they got when it came out but it’s got such a cult following now.
An incredible show of nobody has seen it. Big budget too, feels like watching a movie. All about an early kind of criminal psychology unit of the FBI in the 70’s. Fantastic.
It only had two series and really needs another to finish the backstory off of BTK (the show portrays real life serial killers including Manson and others who get interviewed by the main cast to help them understand the crimes they’re investigating) and in the background of the two series BTK is active and it was heading towards some sort of payoff but got axed.

not a tv show
but Jamie Lee Curtis would love a sequel to the film True Lies, to star alongside Arnie again, but not really likely considering their director James Cameron is currently solely busy with the Avatar films

…I was thinking Desperate Housewives, so I looked it up to see if there was one planned to happen and there is…/called Wisteria Lane…not a reboot as such, but a spin off …some new characters but maybe a crossover of some of the originals as well…?…I’m not sure…
