A committee of MPs have written to the chairman of the BBC demanding information about
the way a speech by Donald Trump was edited in an episode of Panorama.
Dame Caroline Dinenage, chairwoman of the Culture, Media and Sport Committee, said
that the corporation faces "serious questions to answer" following allegations that viewers
were misled.
Dame Caroline, who signed the letter on behalf of the committee, said: “The
BBC clearly has serious questions to answer regarding both its editorial
standards and the way in which concerns are handled by senior
management.
“The corporation must set the benchmark for accurate and fair reporting,
especially in a media landscape where it is all too easy to find news
presented in a less than impartial way.
“The committee needs to be reassured that those at the very top of the BBC
are treating these issues with the seriousness they deserve and taking
decisive steps to uphold the corporation’s reputation for integrity and public
trust.”

The BBC is finished. People should not be required to pay for Islington woke Leftists to spin their lying, twisted agenda.

:joker::joker::joker:
BBC is publicly owned.
It's governed under a Royal Charter which is supposed to make sure it is independent. Evidently that doesn't work.

There's a difference between the BBC's Royal Charter and the suggestion that the royals own the BBC. It's quite a ridiculous notion.

Seeing a lot of nonsense being spouted about how the latest BBC scandal is all
down to some right-wing political plot.
Er no, it’s down to Panorama, the Beeb’s flagship news show, stitching up
President Trump by editing his Jan 6 speech in a deliberately misleading way.
End.

But also the Legit President of America,
has a Legal Team
that has won millions from CBS TV
for corrupt broadcasting.
President Trump is now looking to take
The BBC to Court for damages

The legitimate President of America, yes
NOT thankfully elected anywhere or anyhow in the UK.
He's more paranoid and unhinged in my view.
It's a pity he's elected ANYWHERE.

I honestly couldn't care a jot about that.
I don't care what President is elected in the USA as long as they don't run anything here in the UK.

Yes, but his legal team has won
damages from USA TV.
They can drag BBC America into court.
So do not worry about BBC UK.
They will have to use Public funding
to pay for damages
