You’d think that by Week 10 of Let’s Dance Nederland we’d finally know what to expect. But no — the producers have once again stitched together a running order so transparent you could turn it into a stained‑glass window.

We open with Liza Sips and Jared doing a Charleston to Je Me Casse. Of course. The ultimate “we want instant energy but nothing too risky” choice. Liza is the perfect opener: cheerful, safe, and no one gets upset if she’s not immediately scoring tens. The coffee is still warm, expectations still low.

Then Roeland Fernhout in the dreaded second slot. A Samba to Keep My Cool. I wish Oana all the best, but this is like asking someone to assemble an IKEA cabinet without screws. Roeland is charming, but a Samba requires hips, rhythm, and a looseness he usually only has after a glass of wine. Good luck.

Fenna and Keo get a Viennese Waltz to Dido. That’s the kind of combination that makes you nod softly without thinking. It’ll be pretty, it’ll be polite, it’ll be exactly what you expect. The judges will use words like “flowing” and “poetic,” and no one will remember it three weeks from now.

Then Ivo Chundro with a Paso to Robbie Williams’ Radio. I don’t know who came up with this, but it sounds like a routine that will either be brilliant or end up looking like a school musical audition. Charissa can do a lot, but even she can’t work miracles if Ivo slips back into his “I’m actually too nice for a Paso” mode.

Angel and Sergiu get a Waltz to Everything I Need. Naturally. The producers want her in the final and you can smell it from a mile away. A safe dance, a safe song, a safe mid‑show placement. It’s like she’s wearing a sign around her neck: “Do not eliminate, thank you.”

Max and Katja with a Rumba to Love Yourself is basically a social experiment. How much vulnerability can you extract from a guy who’d rather wear a hoodie than an open shirt. Katja will try, but I predict the judges will mostly talk about “growth” and “intention” because they don’t dare say it might actually be a bit awkward.

And then Oos and Roemjana. A Salsa to You To Me Are Everything. This is the “wake the audience back up” category. Oos will have fun, Roemjana will shine, and it’ll all be wonderfully wholesome. The perfect warm‑up for the serious endgame.

Victor and Anna get a Foxtrot to Vanessa Williams. That’s almost too perfect. The producers have clearly decided Victor is the “technical man” of the season and now he needs his big elegant moment. The second‑to‑last slot tells you everything: they’re pushing him toward the final.

And then Romy Monteiro closing the night with an Argentine Tango to Queen of the Night. Of course. The finale is practically carved in stone already. Romy gets to end the show with a power number that requires more smoke machines than a Toppers concert. Raimondo will make it so dramatic the cameras will start sweating.
