Gene Simmons has signed up for the next series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, according to a report today.

The Daily Star claims that producers expect the Kiss singer to spice up the jungle with his outrageous opinions and bad boy antics.

Simmons is no stranger to reality TV; he has previously starred in Channel 4's Rock School, which saw him turning a class of youngsters into a rock group.

It is rumoured that Gene will be joined in Australia by former supermodel Janice Dickinson and TV psychic Sally Morgan, when the show returns later this year.

He was funny on Rock School

I imagine he'd be a bit like Dick from BB8US

He would be a good character but usually the eraly ones dont make it in the jungle

He's done some smaller-scale rockumentary/reality tv shows recently. (That was a bit vague, but I saw him on this weird thing where they kinda followed him around for a day or something - and he was paid no fee, purely for publicity). So IAC certainly it's below him.

Would be good to see him on the show actually, he has a weird personality - I feel he'd be one of those where your first impressions of him change over time and you begin to see a different "side".

I've been a fan of Kiss and especially Gene for some years. Yes, he's arrogant, yes he always believes he's right, yes he openly admits that he doesn't believe in the word 'enough' - but he battled against the odds after a very poor childhood, and became a major major star. I know Kiss have never made it as big over here as in the states, but they were a huge phenomenon in their time. They made some great music actually. I don't know how I would feel about seeing Gene in this show - I'd want to watch it on the one hand, but on the other hand....hmmm, I just don't know.
