:worry:

Comments like its great to see a young man not afraid to show his emotions.

Personally when Marcus is in the DR sharing his feelings for Elsa he is looking everywhere but at the camera, so its doesn't feel genuine to me

Personally think the comments about Marcus notbeing genuine are a bit uncalled for

Hes not done anything to warrant it apart from being a good looking lad

We seem to be an audience conditioned by love island

…to be fair to him…(…and I’m not a particular Marcus fan…)…but it all looked very real and genuine to me and it is good to see that he showed that openly on National TV …not just the emotion felt genuine but when he gave the letter to Emily and she was overcome, herself…he just looked as though he was bursting with happiness for her and that he was able to give that joy to her…

I mean it does feel very conveniently timed, him coming to this realisation that he's supposedly in love with Elsa, just as the final starts coming into view for them all.

I will say though, despite me generally thinking he's eventually gone along with this showmance to get ahead in the game (and also probably because he thinks Elsa's hot, if nothing else), I dislike the idea being peddled about that he's been the main or sole instigator of it the whole time. People seem to forget that he pulled back from her for around a week when things got too intense on Elsa's part. I don't think it's fair to blame him solely for this black hole of a showmance on our screens.

Odd thing to say when ever fibre of his body was trying to hide the emotions he felt

Dont get me wrong he obviously felt very guilty about calling Emily jarring especially when she took it so well, and he was very happy to get her letter for her, but in the DR talking about Weddings etc, Judy James and Pam Spear would have a field day with his body language if they were still around

…for sure, and I’ve championed Elsa throughout but she’s been in a relationship, well since she was a child, really…since she was 15yrs old and for 4 years and came straight into the BB house from that break up and the guy himself saying that he broke it off because he knew he would never marry her…that’s something that (…I think…)…will have really impacted her and maybe led to her ‘instant hope’ that Marcus might be that one…?…that’s been very difficult for him to navigate also without it impacting him if he rejected her but he’s navigated it all well, I feel…and probably has genuine affection for her…Will it be lasting…?…hmmmm, personally I’m doubtful but for the moment and in the moment, I do feel that it’s genuine…

She needs exorcised before any thoughts off marriage come to fruition.
