View Full Version : This season’s winner/Richard?-seen by HM’s to have made low positive/negative impact?
…thoughts…?…that the housemates didn’t give any red/white eyes to Richard …and yet obviously he’s going to be the winner by a huge margin I would say…but inside the house, the others don’t feel that he’s been someone who has impacted the house dynamics so much in any direction…why has he been so ‘impactful’ to the voters/viewers, do you think…?…

This. And Cameron. The sympathy trio. Haven't delivered much to the house based on the highlights (and Richard is basically on bed on the live feed), seem nice people, but have been pushed forward because of what the audience perceives to have been done to them.

This is exactly why he needs to win.
Also, housemates don't see his brilliant dairy room chats

It’s funny how both ends of the spectrum were out first: Marcus (the bookies fave to go) and Richard (the bookies fave to win).

He hasn't been impactful with the viewers. Caroline has and he has simply benefitted from her.
He is just a blank space pity vote, though people will deny that and try and rationalise it ("I would like him anyway", etc) but that's the basic truth. That and he was some kind of weird protest vote on the state of modern BB.
But, as always, we viewers get the HMs that we deserve.

…I mean that’s the thing, isn’t it…that the housemate who will undoubtedly win …even with the other housemates…?…is not someone who they feel has impacted the house…/…that feels very weird…
all the hm's have been mediocre poo this series. We struggle each day to find something interesting in them to talk about, but it's tough

He hasn't really made an impact on the viewers organically.
Caroline gave him a bigger presence than he would've had without her, because she was the star of the series and could make anyone she interacted with seem more interesting than they actually are.
