It's not been good, has it?

I 100% agree with you.

I think it's because the Show is being aimed towards kids, it doesn't really suit the BB brand imo.

Nah boring non existent season

Too many boring housemates, very bb4ish

I've watched every series since 2001 (BB2) and for me it's genuinely the worst series of all time.

I've enjoyed it well enough. It's a chill series for me. Caroline was very entertaining when she was in.

I've actually really enjoyed it. First two weeks were slow but it's been pretty strong since then imo

I agree, it's the worst ever for me from when I began watching.

I stopped watching this series for almost a couple of weeks..
I've watched it again once I learned Caroline was thankfully out.

However there's not been any real improvement.
It hasn't been a good one at all in my view.
Then again maybe I'm just one for who BB has lost its appeal now.

It's...not as bad as people have been going on about. It's a drop off from the last two series, but not a steep one imo. :hehe: Bizarrely, I think it's arguably had the best mix of male housemates since ITV started doing Big Brother (though that's still not saying much). Even Tate eventually showed himself to be a solid and likeable HM, if not the most exciting.

Look at the reaction on here to Tate joking around during the eye balance task. He was apparently the devil incarnate as he was with Emily.

So perhaps people are getting the show they want deep down, or at least deserve.

I can't remember enjoying a BB so much in the past 10 years. Best thing about it was there was no 2 way divide in the hm. There were lots of mixed groups with some really strong friendships growing throughout the series in each little group and tuning in every night was like catching up with old friends for me.

The only grumble I would have is the jail punishments for discussing nominations, put them up for eviction. Also the BB voice fella rambled on to long to often.

Definatly a series I could 're watch, but then again I also really enjoyed BB 4.

i think people are viewing previous series with rose coloured glasses. There have been some absolute howlers over the years and this one would fit firmly in the middle. Not the worst by a big margin and not the best either

i mean the one with the atrociously dull gay showmance was truly awful

I wouldn't say its been the worst series. Its nowhere near the best but theres been a lot of moments I enjoyed. Its still been watchable. But I doubt I will remember much about it

I've enjoyed it, it's not the best but not the worst look at last year for me was far worst.

For all the moaning about the final six, I found last year's far less pleasant. Ali and Nathan being in there? Ali winning? I thought the series in general was decent but the public rewarding who they rewarded detracted heavily from it.

Yes i agree it is being aimed towards the younger viewer, but maybe (and i mean this in the nicest possible way ) that for us oldies who have been watching for years have just out grown it.

People exaggerating calling this the worst series ever. I found it decent, not as good as the previous two, but still watchable and it had its moments.

Now my worst week was the third, because the stupid Show shielded one of the two Twerking idiots from being evicted.:fist:

The closest series to being as bad as this year for me, would be Lewis F's year (I really didn't like him or his group) and BB16.

And even then I still think that both of those series probably had more going for them than this last one from ITV.

Don't forget a Housemate got thrown out for having a conspiracy theory in this series.:umm2:

I'm 29 years old.

ITV can't cater to someone in my age group? That truly speaks volumes to just how awful ITV are doing with BB.

Yes even Marcus got slightly better towards the end. He seemed rather sweet and no and not just because of the whole Elser thing...

I always thought Marcus probably got a very raw deal as far as the edit. If a HM wants to have a shot at actually getting across their personality to the viewing audience and not being tied down to one 'storyline' that sucks up all their airtime otherwise, the worst thing they can do is get involved in a showmance. In the times he was away from Elsa and interacting with, say, Tate or Richard, I thought he came across as a decent chap. I do still think he eventually caved to the thing with Elsa because he realised it was the only way he was going to get airtime lol. But that's because of the inklings he got from the outside world via constant interference from the producers, etc.

Spot on and a lot of the time it's all down to editing where they keep on showing certain HMs all the time and we don't get to see others

It was pretty dire...but I would say it sums up the world we live in all very PC..young people with attitude and entitlement and everyone getting labelled for everything they do.

Mmmm

I think he genuinely fell for her .. understandably so .. he’s a bit old fashioned as well - he’s said numerous times that he didn’t want to go the whole hog on a tv show and would rather go out somewhere by themselves and then make things official

That’s the sign of an admirable young man

Yeah, I had to force myself to watch it for the last couple weeks.

The series really suffered from just becoming too repetitive, another episode of Caroline's vendetta against Richard after another, just felt so stagnant and boring. By the time she was evicted it felt too late to get invested in anything else

Elsa and Richard were my favourite housemates so at least it ended up with the strongest result.

I struggle when there’s people who repulse me like Jenny and Caroline so I record it and fast forward whenever I can

I felt the same with zelah, feyishola and sam - just horrible fake self-obsessed woke people and terrible to watch
