What's on the menu?

I am just deliberating myself over a post work pint. Perhaps I will follow Emily's example with a nice bottle of Chardonnay and a prawn linguine

Or much more likely a curry and some cobras

We’re off food shopping now (urgh) so will pick something up for tonight as won’t want to cook by the time we’re back.

Drink wise, not sure. I don’t often drink at home now, but maybe I’ll make an old fashioned or two tonight

I have bought my favourite Olives with lumps of garlic and fiery hot red chilies to have with some pizza. I have a bottle of Aldi Bear Bros California Sauvignon Blanc. Plus a couple of drams.

I will have my tea at 8 as per normal

You ever tried Estrella? One of few beers drinking in this country as it's brewed in Spain with soft water, so tastes smooth. Peroni too, brewed in Italy. So many beers brewed here with untreated hard water, and added chemicals, hence them tasting like crap

Estrella is my goto if its available in the pub, next to that is peroni. I've had too many headaches the next day with other beers

It's all to do with where they're brewed, our water is dog piss and untreated like i say. Always go with beers brewed where they originate from.

And yeah, a few cans of weak Carling, Stella etc, you feel like crap.

Its best to buy real German beer (Aldi and Lidl ) as they are brewed to exacting German purity laws. Pretty much all pub lager is UK-brewed with glucose and hard water and is sh1t. It may say its Belgian, Spanish or Italian but it aint
