I’m bracing myself, we have it dropping tomorrow. At least it’s dry for now. I don’t mind the cold when it’s pleasant.

We had low 30s (that's near 0...), but most of the time we only go down to 0 or a little below for only a few hours.

Our high today so far is 29C with of 19C low tonight...

I’ve got my big, fluffy Oodie on as we speak. Love the crisp mornings though. Cosy.

I'll happily take some of that cold off of you, my hub misses me being in winter wear. It's hard to justify with these temps but a bit lower and most Houstonians will switch to mix and match. usually shorts, a big sweater maybe leggings if it's not too humid. (That's a big if.) Wind breaker and jeans at night.

I’m just praying the snow holds off until I’m out of the country for all of December.

You don't have very long. Also I just realized we are 10 days away from Thanksgiving. :spin:

Yes, it is always on a Thursday and this might be the first year we will be able to cook on the same day. We usually have to wait until Friday due to driving out to family's.

I may send husband to do the grocery list this year so I can focus on the cooking. I went today and I was so wiped after that... the traffic is already up and in extra crazy mode just in time for the holidays.

I love the autumn and winter seasons tbh. They reflect my usual mood and that rather paradoxically makes me feel a little better.

Ray is like I need a seasonal lamp, but one that works in reverse by removing all the light, in order to maintain the optimum mood.

Our fall<->winter season on average isn't what it used to be. We used to have a longer transition and I enjoyed it during my younger years. Now it's more like hey warm and a humid fall, mostly normal, we're still in shorts... then MASSIVE cold front—hi winter.

We've had a very nice fall, though. Our trees are having a mast year so acorns and drops everywhere.
