The health-approved recommendation of 15 seconds (or whatever), longer or shorter?

After a pee (or a number-2).

I wash my hands throughly using the steps I've seen on posters at the hospital and such, I have made sure to spend over thirty seconds scrubbing since having a newborn last year, you can't be too careful with germs.

Constantly washing my hands, and it's always between 15- 30 seconds .

That’s the equivalent of going round touching things with your dick

Learn to read and understand what hyphens are. Or as you as allergic to reading as you are to taking accountability? It would explain an awful-lot.

I don’t know how people put up with you. Send me another dirty “olive-branch” and I’ll snap it in 3 and wash my hands of it for a good 90 seconds. Such an olive-branch is inherently filthy and meaningless. No amount of bleach can clean that dirty branch. And yes. I’ll hit you with it, too.

Your IGNORE button isn’t working

Unless you just can’t stand by your word ??

You definitely promised to put me on IGNORE last night and I would prefer it if you stopped following me around the forum finding fault and making defamatory comments about my good-self .

Babies do need a certain level of contact though to build up immunity its why they pick up all sorts at Nursery and School :bawling:

Not very long. I can get sore hands in the winter and overwashing isn't good for them.

How do you know when they’re clean, though? There’s toxic bacteria everywhere that we can’t see.

and when you next touch something or stay still for 30 seconds, you will be totally covered in whatever again

You do understand that being covered in bacteria etc is our natural state. That's how we build up immunity to every day life

I clean my mobile once a week with special wipes. I'd imagine many members mobiles have more bacteria than the own toilet seat

But do they wash their hands after using their phones?

Lol

I don't really think about it that much, but I'd wager 15sec average just because I tend to do it frequently as I'm doing things. Usually longer in the bathroom or when I don't intend to wash for a bit. I don't like oils and such getting into my tools, my keyboards so I will use sanitizers/cleaners on my hands to keep from transferring oils and tend to be mindful of that. I even have an acrylic cover for overnight and to keep little hands away.

I know, but, like I say, there’s a difference between good (or at-least necessary for immunity and whatnot) and bad bacteria, that we don’t need. And both are everywhere. Naked to the human eye but they’re everywhere.

I was just teasing a bit about tea-tree oil being extra-antibacterial. Use it to wipe down your ’phone-screen and you could probably eat yo. dinner on it, if it could fit.
