Third day now, most of Tunbridge Wells in Kent affected. South East Water said it would be fixed by 6am Sunday, then 6pm Sunday, then 6am Monday, but still nothing. People queuing hours at water station points.

Something to do with a bad batch of Chemicals. Lots of schools, pubs, businesses forced to close.

I went to collect some water first thing this morning, didn't have to wait too long tbf. It must be extremely worrying for the elderly, and those without transport. I did hear South East Water is delivering water to those who can't get to the water stations. They say it'll be fixed by 2pm now, but i very much doubt it.

Yes,
Good, they are supplying Bottled Water.

Yes, it would make folks ill.

[B]They should do Future Checks before the day
it goes in.

Today LibDem Leader Ed Davey MP
brought this up at PMQs

They have put the water on for the toilets, today

All due to their error
of having dodgy chemicals - Not Checked

[This is because the company took the decision to
pump water from its Pembury facility - even though
it cannot be used for drinking
without boiling first - to return water to
people's toilets and showers.

When this was announced, South East Water
said it was asking "all customers in the
Tunbridge Wells area who have experienced
low pressure or no water since 29 November"
to boil water before drinking it.]
