3 or 4. We didn't get Channel 4 here until a few years after it launched.

I got Sky satellite TV at the end of 1995.

Many people on TIbb will never recall having to get up out your seat and go and change channels by pressing buttons on the TV

Worse still not being able to pause or record anything you wanted ..

The number of times we missed a vital part of a series or even a full episode due to someone calling to visit or ringing you midway

Five, and Channel 5 was nearly always "snowy".

I don't know if this is a false memory, but in one particular house I THINK we could get SkyOne if the telly was tuned in a certain way, but it was awful quality. That might be conflating with a particularly bad reception for C5, but I.vaguely remember a weird and shortlived glitch with SkyOne that allowed normal TVs with a certain aerial being able to get it in very specific circumstances?

A snowy picture was the result of a poor reception or a poorly situated aerial back in the day wasn’t it ??

On certain days I could get Northern Ireland channels albeit snowy, from my aerial.

Having to watch it when it was on and sometimes missing something if 2 programmes where on at the same time.

We was lucky because our aerial was on the roof so we had a good reception.
