With alll the time and resources put into this I was hoping it was to catch child grooming gangs, alas no, it's to catch someone's granny who probably brushed past a copper.

To be honest it’s nothing more than a way of making money and ticking boxes
In this country the sentence doesn’t reflect the seriousness of the crime in nearly every case

Again, crime is crime. Your lack of understanding and personal opinion doesn’t change that.
Abide the law. Simple really.

You really haven’t had any dealings with the police or been out drinking with them to know what the law is and when it applies and when to look the other way
And I know for a fact that the police are as guilty as the next person

And unless you have studied law and know what you’re talking about the best outcome for anyone is abide the law. Break the law then face the consequences. What part of that is so difficult for you to understand?

Looking at the sentences handed down it's a complete waste of police resources.
