Mr Wales’ parents fly out just before NYE, so we’ll likely do a day trip somewhere in the day and then dinner/drinks in the evening at a nice restaurant. Possibly watch the fireworks on the beach depending how tired we are.

My In Laws are visiting from Texas. We're going to the pub in a local village and having dinner there, then back to my house. Should be a nice evening, both families together.

Christmas ended at 10pm on Christmas Day to a lot of people. I am seeing this more and more with each passing year. Lots of people put away their plastic trees and decorations on BOXING DAY!!! :shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked::shocked:

Went to a gig with really good friends but because it ended at 10pm im already back at home in bwd watching telly and its prob the best new years eve ever haha

I didn't go out, I was not feeling well last night.
I much better now and waiting for the fireworks on the telly :dance:

Had a lovely meal at the pub, all back home now ready for the bells. Kids tucked up in bed, OH's parents are here and my parents and brother are staying. We've made a big jug of Long Island iced tea. I will raise a glass to you all at midnight.

I used to think people who went to bed before midnight on new years eve were weird but having a brew in a comfy bed watching hootenanny is such a good idea. Im glad im not in a cold middle of town surrounded by drunks and struggling to get a taxi back!!

Currently rearranging my daughter's room for visitors later in the Month and also just a nice refresh for the New year. It's sunset here and neighbors are already starting to pop off fireworks.
