[New X-Files reboot is officially in the works,
with Black Panther director Ryan Coogler
leading the project to reimagine the classic sci-fi series
for a modern era with a diverse cast,
aiming to keep the creepy,
mysterious spirit but update it for the
digital age of algorithms and surveillance.

While the original stars Gillian Anderson (Scully)
and David Duchovny (Mulder) aren't confirmed,

Coogler has spoken with Anderson, leaving the door open
for their involvement, though the focus
is on new agents exploring contemporary conspiracies,
not replacing the iconic duo.]

Ryan Coogler made "Sinners"
on Amazon Prime and SkyMovies
today.

Why do you reduce everything to left/right? You're obsessed and it's tedious.

Why not make a new series and call it something else rather than try to update something "for the modern era"? I hate when they "re-imagine" something iconic. I predict it'll fall flat in its face.

Didn’t they try to reboot the series before with season 10 and 11?

They did that with my fave show ‘Quantum Leap’. It was ok, but the original was such a classic it didn’t even compare.
