Pity all i can see in my head now about julie is Jimmy saville in drag on big brother blow jobing a ripe banana.
Oh how I yearn for the good old days of the 1980s

When Sir Jimmy was keeping his dragshow banana blowjobs behind closed doors...mostly....

Id take 1980s corrie over whatever trash they seem to be trying to get away with now. I actually miss when tv used to be limited in what you could watch. I guess it made family time more special, you'd have to watch together

Crazy how much further decent acting will get you. Who’d have thought that women aren’t just a commodity to be valued purely for their looks rather than skill, talent and expertise? Certainly not Zizu.

1976 to 1984. Apparently that was the real golden age for Corrie (2002/03-04 being a more modern second, between Hillman and Mad Maya). It’s just a shame that certain characters (Ena Sharples, Ray Langton, Ernest, Billy Walker) were either going, gone or on reduced hours for much of that original golden stretch but life’s like that. People come, go and come but only partially all the time.

70s and 80s Corrie was special
70s and 80s Corrie was special
Definitely
Plus the episodes often ended on a cliffhanger ( not literally Glen before you start )
