Forums are a dying breed, and this one hit its peak during the height of BB.

I think it’s because it’s the same people mocking/baiting/arguing/etc in threads.

You shouldn't really be bothered about serious debate and news forum if you only want reality tv discussion.

But I understand how it looks if you look in.

But it does keep people coming back. So it's a double edged sword.

Should have stayed on the positive angle...:fist:

I like you Redway, because I see a happy old cool black dude sitting in a pub watching the world go by whilst posting on TIBB.

I'm probably a mile off, but thats how i look at you on TIBB when I see your polls.

I struggle if I'm honest. Takes me more time editing my grammar than it did to right the post.

I know bad grammar is frowned upon in the modern world, especially on the TIBB of old..it's ok now. Which should really entice the youth of today to gravitate to the morw illiterate side of TIBB. but it doesn't seem to.

I dunno. It's a mystery.

Happy’s not a word people tend to use on me broadly.
Old? Sheriff seems to think I’m about 24 and certain mandem of 2018 thought I was 77, crumbling in old age with a bit of urban sprinkling, a bit of steeze . Median-35, I guess. But that ain’t old, fam. Come on.

I had you down as mid 30s in my head, glad to know I was right with that.

Hey, in this day and age, I’d still consider someone younger than 45 relatively young.

I got told as a young apprentice from the oldest man on the site one day. He said. "Son, when you are young the years of your life go past like telegraph posts, when you are older, they go past like fence posts.

I laughed at the radge auld bugger. Not now though, wish I could shake his hand.:bawling:

Youthful king

Indeed. Ben’s just that guy. Tall, sturdy and in good shape. That doesn’t exactly hurt, either. We haven’t always seen eye-to-eye on here, me and him but we’ve had a good run of getting on and he’s a good guy. I like him.

More generally, though, speaking more generally about this young-middle-aged thing, I just find it hard associating anyone born this side of 1979 with the age we grew up watching our parents (baby boomers) get a bit older in. So far as you’re hovering around the millennial-mark, you’re still young to me. Will I get away with saying this when those people are 50? Probably not, not gonna lie. But 35-44 is an interesting age-range in-general. Certain things from that generation (some good, some very bad) of baby-boomers just haven’t caught up to most millennials and younger Gen-Xs yet. There’s definitely a difference.

I'm 40 if anyone gives a ****.

Anyway, forums are cozier. Most of the internet is a cesspool so I'm glad to sit here and watch the rest of the world burn with you fine folk. (mostly joking about the burning part)

And I'm 31 for anyone who cares.

So if the site's still around when the time comes, I may well still be posting on this site when a lot of you are already in your graves, arguing next to each other, muffledly. :hee: What a comforting thought, eh.
