In this timeless mystery by the re-invented Queen of Crime, a fearless young aristocrat ‘Lady Eileen “Bundle” Brent’ investigates the murder of her love interest in her family home. Across 3 episodes, expect the unexpected as well as twists and turns as Bundle races to find the killer - time is running out.
…Helen Bonham-Carter, Martin Freeman, Iain Glen among the cast…

With all due respect intended, but they look very Brum.
But I'm sure that the Mystery will be worth seeing tbf, I do like a good murder mystery.

They've changed the story to match modern sensibilities and blind cast it. I'm a huge Christie fan, I will not be watching this. Gen Z will probably lap it up. They should probably have taken Christie's name off it and called it something else.
…I just binged this, it was very enjoyable and an easy binge at only three hours in all…Mia McKenna-Bruce was especially delightful as Bundle Brent and Helena Bonham Carter is always an excellent watch……the recruitment of the ending was so perfectly Traitor-like, it made me smile…
Thanks for the recommendation, Ammi. Though like Livia, I also have to voice displeasure at the makers invariably tampering with the source material and whatnot in order to appease 'modern' audiences who, by and large, probably won't engage with the end product anyway (not that attaining that hypothetical viewership would justify it imo). My favourite Christie adaptations are the Albert Finney movie, the Suchet series (which itself wasn't above tampering with the source material, to varying degrees of success), and the Sam Neil/Charles Dance-led adaptation of And Then There Were None. Those are the cream of the crop Agatha Christie adaptations imo. Having said that, I've never actually watched the Joan Hickson Ms Marple series. I should rectify that sometime soon.

…that’s all fair, I have to say that with Agatha Christie, there have been so many adaptions for screen that I really just think of them as an ‘entertainment watch’ …some movies/series I’ve enjoyed and some, not so much but I don’t really think any deeper than that about them…I enjoyed the cast in Seven Dials and it was enjoyable watch for me…
