I was sooo looking forwards to this but the trailer I saw last week made it look like an episode of Plebs !!
So many jokes in so a short 2 minute trailer
its apparently a very short season, with short episodes. I think it is based on a short story?

I like 99% of the show thus far .. loving the acting and writing … though it does feel a little like GoT meets Plebs occasionally
I actually I hated the extremely graphic , completely unnecessary scene where he was shown defecating diarrhoea … if they were trying to suggest that he was extremely nervous about the next day’s jousting tournament there’s a hundred better , less disgusting ways they could have done it .
That’s probably my only gripe though other than the half hour episodes ..
The 3rd episode was brilliant

yes, but listening to the fortune teller, i think he is the mad king :laugh: The series is set about 70 years before GoT so it would fit

Because GOT was a Political TV Show with a serious tone to itself.

It's not GoT, it's just set in the same universe. I really like it because its fresh and interesting. Don't write something off before you try it

That's a fair point.
I do miss the more ambitious elements of the franchise though, as neither spin-off seems to have what made GOT so special in my eyes.
For example:
- Political intrigue
- Barbaric characters
- Ambitious storytelling/bold character development for certain characters
- Sexual content and lots of violence
- Dark humour
GOT had nearly everything that a person could ask for in a TV Show imo.
But tbf, you're right in that I probably should check at least an episode of Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms before judging it's qualities fully.
Episode 4 is my new favourite of the series :laugh:

I think it was the gods looking after him, cause i'm pretty sure he died on the battlefield at one point. I think they drove that idea home when his old mentor came back to life to finish his story and then died again
