see if nasa just kept on going with the space missions to the moon since the 1970s then by the 1980s we could have had colonies on the moon then by the 1990s many colony style space stations in outer space then by the 2000s nasa could have started space missions to mars then by the 2010s many colonys on mars

So exciting. What's also pleasing is to see how taken-for-granted it is for women and black people to be part of the crews now.
We didn't get where we are today without people willing to risk their lives in the name of exploration and discovery

My kids are quite breathless with anticipation. My boy got a Lego Saturn 5 for Christmas and can name all 12 astronauts who walked on the moon. My Dad gave us an interest and it's now passed on to my kids. I'm really glad they're both so into it.

Must have been an amazing night... My Dad said he looked at the moon through a telescope that night and it was an awesome feeling to think there were men on it.
