She's taken it far too seriously imo.
Yes she was rude to Rachel and Roxy, but everyone has moments where they're not at their best.
Imo she should just laugh it off.

She is embarrassed I guess

…(…I’m guessing also…)…from a few bits online, that Harriet may have been getting (…social media hate…?…)…comments that aren’t good at all, such is the world of the internet at times and that’s why she’s maybe felt that she’d speak up…I know that Rachel has also spoken out in terms of ‘remember, it’s just a game…’…and these aren’t ’bad people doing bad things’ as it were and I’m not sure if that’s also referencing similar/Harriet negativity…

We all do stupid stuff and over-play our hand. It's got to be hard doing it in front of tv cameras. I liked Harriet but she was faced with a passive-aggressive sociopath, it must have been infuriating. "I've been trained by the FBI". Oh **** off.
It was pretty funny though. My favourite moment was when she started yelling at Roxy that there was a gremlin on the wing of their plane.
Everyone at some time gets a doze of tunnel vision and cant stand back and see how silly their thought processes were. Add the cameras to that and it amplifies 10 fold. I would hope most people would have a laugh about it and move on

…what most of us think and say every day about our posts…

This made me laugh, especially the Roxy bit.

Harriet should have taken a page out of the trump playbook and bombed the turret

She shouldn't really need to apologise to anyone other than whoever she snapped at, really - like others have said, it's a pressurised environment and many people crumple under pressure. I don't think she said anything unconscionable anyway.
It's one of many issues I have with the show in theory, I guess: if you play the game a little too well and get invested, you don't last long, but if you take it as a walk in the park then you're just labelled an idiot and a bore by thousands of viewers (myself included :hee: )
I can't see it lasting many more years really... the novelty is starting to wear off, even with the new celebrity edition giving it a boost of life, but ultimately it will all go down the same route as Big Brother, X Factor, The Voice, The Apprentice etc... an ouroboros where the only applicants are too self-aware of the format and want a bit of fame and clout and no real people worth watching any more / everyone just being scouted, and viewers will start to lose interest.

I 100% agree with this part.
Even Jessie started to get some controversy because of her interrogation of Stephen. And obviously Faraaz and Jack get the other extreme reaction.
