It is time to let the competition begin again! I, with Shaun's knowledge AND Riley's lovely ideas, decided to create a spiritual successor to TiBB Eurovision.

The format of the TiBB Music Festival will remain similar to TiBB Eurovision, however, there are some changes. I will have a Spotify playlist of all of the songs for you to listen to the songs during the voting period. This edition, in addition to both shows, a full length show merging both portions will be introduced as well. As songs and artists are chosen and sent to me, I will reveal them in the thread as to build up excitement and make things feel more like Eurovision. This edition, as it looks increasingly likely depending on the amount of countries, I have added dates for the semi-final and its results.

The voting system from the first few editions returns. In the semi-final, every country's televoting will give out a set of 12, 10, 8-1 points. In the final, every country will each give out two sets of 12, 10, and 8-1 points; one for the jury voting, and the other for the televoting. The Rest of the Forum vote returns as well, but as an extra set of 12, 10, 8–1 points in the televote. I strongly encourage everyone to have most of, if not all of their votes be different, as to try and shut down vote rigging accusations.

- If you want to take part, reply to this thread with the countries you want! But please, if you do reserve a country, I expect an entry.
--From this edition onwards, everyone can choose between 1 and 4 countries to participate as. To those who wish to choose one of Big 6, you can only claim ONE of them.
- In a change from TiBB Eurovision, participants can now choose a song that is already in the public database (look on Spotify or YouTube, there are plenty of songs on either one).
- Lyrics, an artist name, song title AND music video are all that's required.
- Entries must be submitted to me as soon as possible. The voting portion of the contest will take place over the course of a 1 week period.
- And for the first time since Globalvision, countries that are not in Europe or Australia will be able to participate.

You have as much time as you need to find your entries. Please find songs that we all may enjoy, and please don't feel afraid to take part The more entries, the more fun it is to run. Songs can be about anything you like, and whilst we are fairly liberal with what is deemed "in good taste" obviously a song containing 30 different death threats may well find itself lost in my inbox and doomed never to enter.

The winner of this glorious festivity shall also receive a supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics a spot in the TiBB Music Festival Hall of Fame! - so if that isn't motivation to bring your A-game, I don't know what is.

Like most editions, the Big 6 will all qualify for the final. All of the countries mentioned below will be free game. From now on, the UK will be split into the 4 nations of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. Russia will once again be selectable as (Free) Russia. Because of the war in Ukraine, Belarus and any Russian artists supporting the war will not be selectable until further notice. Because of the war in Gaza and tensions in the Middle East, Israel will not be selectable until further notice.

You can do what I do if I know I’m going to be busy.

Once all the songs are up (which is usually well before the voting opens) I listen to them and start ranking them over the course of a few weeks, ready to send for when the voting opens.

You can do what I do if I know I’m going to be busy.

Once all the songs are up (which is usually well before the voting opens) I listen to them and start ranking them over the course of a few weeks, ready to send for when the voting opens.

I have some breaking news regarding a TBU member. China has announced that it has withdrawn from the TBU. This means that they cannot be chosen in future editions unless a new broadcaster comes in.

However, in a new solution, TiBB1 itself will be sending an entry on behalf of the forum starting in the twenty-first edition.
