Hasn't AI unofficially been used for scriptwriting in modern media for the last few years? Hence why so many of us have noticed a sharp decline in quality for most of the stuff that's being made.

Some AI is good though, Copilot especially you can create quite a lot of good transcripts with and background information for characters

Not all AI are bad, and i blame terminator films for the discrimination against AI


Hollywood for me is very much still delivering decent films, series


And Disney Plus including more classics since their 100% ownership of hulu and merger, even the likes of E.T, Jumanji on there now, also Minions which immediately gone into top 10 most watched on the streaming service

I'm sure that AI has it's good points to it when creating a Film.

But I personally can't see AI being able to create storylines that some of the best writers have been able to create throughout history.

Add infinity to a roomful of monkeys with a typewriter and they will eventually type the complete work of shakespeare. AI will do this in your lifetime

What people aren't acknowledging is that AI is very much in its infancy. It's improvements have now started to become exponential. What we are seeing is a childs attempts at the moment

I can't tell the difference,as there's crap script writers as well who think they're talented but they're rubbish. So it will just get to the stage where AI & bad human writers , just overlap ( actually it's probably already happening) so yeah .

Old movies are like the blue print,but also it's made Hollywood lazy....as they don't have an original idea amongst them. The amount of reboots / remakes & recycled plot lines, it's ashame really.

When I watch a classic like Back To The Future ,i always think they'll never be another movie franchise like this.

The production team behind the percy jackson and the olympians series aren't lazy at all for example

They also currently have big plans for the power rangers reboot

And video game speaking, there are also proper production teams there, i mean the life is strange games, and another game of theirs Lost Records Bloom and Rage also quite a success, with similar vibes of stranger things in there regarding the amount of detail to the decade the events took place, 90s, i also love how wholesome Immortals Fenyx Rising is with the amount of detail of old greek mythology


Gareth Edwards and his team did a solid job with Jurassic World Rebirth with a whole new cast, whole new island, on location filming, in Thailand in the middle of monsoon season

So yes good production teams are still there, but you also have those who use AI as helpful tools especially newcomer directors, producers to kickstart their careers
