I was reading this morning how Wales is spending £1.2 million on lessons about white privilege. I'm sure all those Welsh miners over the centuries, misused and oppressed by rich mine owners, working down the mines for 12 hours a day since they were 14, going home, their faces and bodies black with coal, to a small terraced house with an outside bog and a tin bath were just steeped in white privilege.

"I was wondering if we could get every child [in Wales] to wear a hijab so they can experience the culture."

How about you make all Muslim girls take off their hijabs so they can experience our culture too and not beholden to men who want to belittle them?

too many suicidal empathy women in positions of power these days and we get absolute garbage like this. Wales is broken

Controversial but I agree. I get the power of national pride but in practice ever greater devolution doesn't actually bring many benefits and causes a lot of disruption and complexity for the internal market

:laugh3:

Who even asked for that? I swear to god Politicians just ignore the stuff that the public are genuinely concerned about.

Its all about virtue signalling online to make them feel important

not about fixing potholes and providing services to people who pay their wages

She's really getting to the topic that everyone has been talking about for decades at this point.

- Not the broken justice system that favours hardcore criminals.

- Not the Economy.

- And not the fact that Starmer is slowly trying to turn us into China.

But should we force children into wearing a Hijab? Where would we be without this woman's insight.

But why virtue signal to people that make up about 30% of the population? if they even make up that many really.

She wants them to literally experience the culture.

Maybe fgm next then? Perhaps female pupils can be forced out of the classroom completely, or at least be made to walk behind the males.
