Love all types of olives. Probably one of my favourite snacks.

I’m like that with avocado. I can get with the oil (which is neutral-tasting when it’s heated up) but the fruit in the flesh itself is just a no-no for me. So I just can’t with avocado toast.

…this for me also…Alan Carr’s thoughts on olives are that they’re a bit like women…they turn your stomach at first but if you persevere you’ll learn to love them…I’ve persevered and I still don’t love them so I’m not sure there’s truth in that at all…Alan made a good Traitor but his olive assessment is a bit off…

I thought they would be like red wine - I hated that when I was younger (probably because any that i tried was very cheap red wine ) but I enjoy a glass of red now. I thought I would grow to love olives too....but I have just had to come to terms with the fact that me and olives are just not meant to be

…yeah, olives always seemed like that ‘grown up’ thing that you would love when you were an adult …I think maybe because they do have that attachment with being a cocktail garnish as well…?…I never got to be that sophisticated person who actually liked them although both my boys love them so I thankfully didn’t pass my prejudice down to them…and so far at two years old, my grandbaby loves them too…
…I do have two olive trees but so far they haven’t given any fruit, maybe they will this year as last season they had only just been planted in their new home…
olives are weird. I like them once in a blue moon; other times i find them repulsive

Iv said this before but as a kid i would watch this particular show and this
elegant lady would always drink a Gin with olives in and it used to fascinate me
but I never tasted an olive until my 20s and i just loved the salty taste and
texture

The only time I don't mind them is cut up small and in a salad

I'd rather a sweet little cherry garnishing a cocktail,but I don't have cocktails often.
I have never liked olives they're just too bitter and yuk ! , but I like olive oil . I've never liked mushrooms or sprouts either ,i will never try to like any of these things :joker: .

…I can eat a Brussels sprout, I can’t lie…I was always that weird kid who didn’t need to be reminded or coaxed to eat their Brussel sprouts on the Christmas Dinner plate…but mushrooms are no fun guy for me, they’re the food of evil…

You seem to have a problem with women drinking anything other than white wine, so I’m surprised.
