Is there a way to not see any of the threads from serious debates in the latest threads section? I know you can hide sub forums, but it still shows the threads in latest threads.

Seeing the constant barrage of those threads makes the forum really depressing.

Use the 'New Posts' and 'Today's Posts' links at the top of forum and you won't see forums that are hidden.

It’s just seeing the barrage of depressing threads dominate the recent posts. I will go into SD on occasion, but I try to avoid SD most days as it’s full of toxicity.

I like the SD section to a point, but I do appreciate it when stuff like the Strictly game or a Reality TV Show comes around because it stops the Forum from feeling too depressing.

Especially since Politics at the minute is worse than watching Villa sitting third in the Premier League table.

I can't lie I've thought of recent of taking a break from TiBB and the internet in general because most conversations that trend of late are all negative. Most people I know are putting more distance between themselves and digital.

I do wonder if I need to do the same thing at some point.

I don't really like the mood that some of the discussions can put me in sometimes.
