They're now sending people letters and emails who have declared they don't need a license saying - "we've noticed you've watched BBC iplayer recently, pay now or risk court and a £1000 fine" etc etc...

I got one of these emails, not used iplayer once, however the email, and the letter said i "MUST PAY NOW" in red bold lettering.

Looked it up, it just means an IP address within around 1 mile of mine has used iplayer. So the scummy James Blunts are sending emails and letters trying to "catch people out" even though they've done nothing wrong.

Desperate, pathetic, draconian, criminal.
