When you watch TV at night?

I focus solely on the TV unless it's BB and then I usually have TiBB open for the running commentary

Not TikTok or Insta but I am very often looking at other things on my phone. I hate how wedded I am to it tbh and think it's damaging my attention span

I heard someone comment the other day on how it used to be the case that whatever was on TV was what we were really interested in and the phone was just a background thing if we really had to respond to a message or something - now it's like the TV show is the background and the phone is the main event and people are deliberately choosing their television based on things they don't need to pay too much attention to so they can still go on their phone

i've always had music on in the past when i'm working, i find it helps me concentrate and TV is now almost a music substitute

im all over tik tok and gore vids on Insta. That said if im watching a game with son im forever saying "watch the game!" :oh:

I miss details if I'm doing other stuff at the same time.

I focus on the tv. If I do pick up my phone or tablet it irritates my O.H. because we coth know pretty soon I'll be asking, Who's that? Where did she come from? What's happening...?

It’s interesting as sometimes it’s more obvious than you think and sometimes I am left gobsmacked as to who that person really is and where I have seen them previously



Oh I also use Google Microphone ( better than Shazam these days) to identify a song in a movie or tv series

I used to use IMDB but the Google option is just faster and more intuitive with a one click option

I usually have tv on streaming services Videoland (for traitors us, sunday and monday) or otherwise disney plus

But normal tv for the german bake off on wednesdays, and as of tomorrow lets dance germany!
