Most of our oil comes from the USA and Norway. However, because of the way oil is priced, we're all paying extra for oil that doesn't even come from the Middle East. We should definitely be drilling our own oil and gas and maybe working on clean filters for fossil fuels as a nod toward the green agenda. This would also give us time and space to develop renewable energy, which right now is both expensive and ineffective. So yeah, drill, baby.

we will still have to pay the same price for the oil no matter where it comes from. No need to worry though cause Russia will help us out

As that Oil still has to go into the Global Market

No need to drill again.

The USA pays at the pump for a gallon of petrol, roughly what we pay per litre. Someone explain that, please.

Other countries have no problem drilling, why is the UK comfortable with that, while renewables remain linked to the gas price they can build all they like but costs wont come down

the other point worth noting is that although it's uk waters, the oilfields are licensed by oil companies, most of whom are not british. The majority are french and norwegian owned. Also, we don't actually have much accessible oil left in the fields, it's mostly gas that remains, and thats all piped from Norway

While both Labour and the Tories are happy enough for it to be imported
