Good job no one dead
Last Night.
[Four ambulances belonging to a Jewish
community charity have been set on fire
in north London
Counter-terrorism police will lead the investigation,
but it's not been declared
a terrorist incident "at this stage", officers say
Earlier, police said the attacks were being treated
as an antisemitic hate crime
Prime Minister Keir Starmer calls it a
"horrific antisemitic attack",
adding: "It's really important that we all
stand together at a moment like this"
Health Secretary Wes Streeting says
replacement ambulances will be loaned
to the Hatzola charity, and the government
will fund permanent replacements
London Fire Brigade were called to Highfield Road
in Golders Green at around 01:40 GMT, and said
multiple cylinders in the vehicles exploded,
causing windows to break in nearby flats
CCTV shows three suspects walking towards
an ambulance before setting it on fire
The free Hatzola ambulance service was
set up in 1979 - Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis
says its "sole mission is to protect life,
Jewish and non-Jewish alike"]

Counter-terror police are investigating an anti-Semitic firebomb attack feared to have been
orchestrated by Iran, The Telegraph understands.
Forgive my ignorance on this matter
What purpose did the 4 jewish ambulances serve ??
Were they just for or primarily for the jewish community ?
If so why ?

Orchestrated by Iran or Iranian sympathisers ?
I am happy to admit that my knowledge on these matters are practically non existent but I would imagine that the Iranian warmongers have bigger fish to fry than 4 ambulances in Golders Green ??

To answer your question and taken from the fund raising page
Our community has been shaken by a devastating fire that destroyed vital Hatzola resources. This isn’t just the loss of vehicles or equipment — it’s the loss of a rapid emergency response system that has saved countless lives.
Hatzola is known for getting to emergencies faster than traditional ambulance services, often arriving within minutes when every second truly matters. And it’s important to say this clearly: Hatzalah doesn’t just serve one group — they respond to anyone in need, regardless of background, faith, or identity. If you’re in the area and you need help, they come.
Now, they need us.
Without immediate support, their ability to respond quickly — to heart attacks, accidents, and life-threatening situations — is at risk. We cannot let that happen.
Your donation will help:
• Replace destroyed emergency vehicles
• Restore life-saving medical equipment
• Get trained volunteers back on the road
• Ensure rapid response times continue for everyone
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to restoring this essential service. Lives depend on it.
If Hatzalah has ever helped you, your family, your neighbors — or even if you just believe that no one should wait longer than necessary in an emergency — please donate and share.
Let’s come together to rebuild Hatzola stronger than ever.
Donate today. Save a life tomorrow.

What’s happening right now to the Jewish community is genuinely sickening. No one should have to live with rising antisemitism or feel unsafe because of who they are. My thoughts are with everyone in the Jewish community dealing with this — they deserve protection, dignity, and the same basic respect as anyone else. We need more tolerance, more humanity, and a lot less hatred.

Has the government proscribed the Iranian Revolutionary Guard yet? Of course not. Why, I wonder...?
The jewish community is under actual physical attack and the government does nothing, but don't you dare say a bad word to a muslim, you will be locked up

We always hear the same stuff trotted out by Starmer after every attack. "We stand with the Jewish community." He's always "deeply shocked". It's bullsh*t. And the Muslim mayor of London had to be shamed into making a statement but had they been ambulances owned by a Muslim organisation you wouldn't have been able to keep him away. The fact is, Islamists have been emboldened by years of being allowed to march through the capital, week after week, spouting anti-Semitism, flying swastikas, chanting "from the river to the sea". They're supported by our government and protected by our police. So many Jews are planning on leaving here for Israel. They're tired of living under constant threat, of having to have security at Jewish schools and at synagogues. It's sickening to think Jews would feel safer in Israel during a war than they feel on the streets of London.

While I’m not criticising the response to anti‑Islam attacks, we should be applying the same seriousness and urgency to all forms of hate. When there’s an obvious rise in antisemitism, it shouldn’t be minimised or brushed aside — yet that’s exactly what Labour has been doing for years. People can see for themselves that the response isn’t consistent.
Targeting a vehicle that exists purely to support and protect the community makes the situation even worse. It’s not just damage to property; it’s an attack on the people who rely on that service.
Whatever someone’s politics, the government has a responsibility to respond to threats against any community with consistency and genuine urgency. That simply hasn’t been happening for the Jewish community, and it’s long overdue for change.

Agreed. It’s horrific. I think the protests as of lately have only made things worse. It’s a shame.

It's Passover next week. This year, more than any other, it worries me there will be an attack.
