From The Sun
GERRY and Liam got tearful earlier, when they received emotional messages from their families.
The messages were read by Ziggy and Gerry as part of BBTV’s news bulletin. Housemates must read a bulletin and produce a programme and an advert every day in order to pass the weekly shopping task.
Donning wigs and suits, Zig and Gez told housemates about a shoplifting seagull in Edinburgh - and that pop star Rihanna’s song Umbrella is the longest running number one single of the year so far.
Ziggy then read an email from Liam's dad.
"Your mum is well. We're all very proud. We miss you more than yesterday but less than tomorrow," the email read.
Gerry then read out an email from a close friend Eleanor – to himself.
"You look gorgeous. Be yourself - we send you a million kisses," he read.
As soon as they were off the air, Gerry started blubbing.
"I'm sorry I just can't believe I got a message from my mum," he told Ziggy.
Liam tearfully hugged a cushion as Ziggy read his dad's words out.
"The last few days I've felt really far from home - just to hear my mum's well...to have it confirmed in words from my dad and to hear that’s he’s proud of me is mint, " he said.
Bless…
