It's been quiz mayhem in the House the past few days. And today, Liam sat in the garden with the twins and laid on a few choices questions of his own. But how was the twins' general knowledge? Was it a run of passes, or did they win the star prize?
"Ask me some questions, see if I'm clever," said Amanda to Liam.
"Name four presidents," he said.
"Tony Blair, Gordon Brown..." the twin replied.
"No, presidents of America," he stated.
Amanda tried again: "Bush, Tony Blair, Margaret Thackcher." Erm, that would be Thatcher Amanda.
"No, America!" Liam said in astonishment.
"Why would I know America?" asked Amanda, equally astonished.
Moving on, Liam tried another subject.
"Name four types of tree," he asked.
"Christmas," said Chanelle, joining in.
"Christmas," repeated Amanda. "Tree, bark, trees with pink leaves, trees with red leaves..."
"...elf tree," said Sam, "apple tree..."
"Apple," said Liam. "You got that right."
"...coconut tree, acorn tree..." added Chanelle displaying some interesting knowledge.
Maybe not trees then, what about...
"Dogs," said Liam. "Name four types of dog."
"Jack Russell," said Amanda, getting one right.
"Toilet paper dog," said Chanelle.
"Husky, Dalmation, Poodle," said Amanda.
"Lassie, Molly," added Chanelle.
Slightly better. And another round, slightly easier?
"Name two types of bike?" said Liam
"A fast bike and slow bike," said Amanda.
What a shame they couldn't phone a friend.
