Charley/Chanelle fans

Alot of people on here are either Charley fans or Chanelle fans and I cannot work out why people would love one and totally hate the other because they share very similar traits.
Alot of fans of one express their feelings on the other yet fail to see that same factor in the one they like.

Why do you think that is?

its probably because they are always arguing, people tend to take sides and stick by them.

They are not similsr at all. Charley argues and runs off at the mouth over anything it's her personality to live off arguements.........Chanelle throws a tantrum because of her insecurities. Otherwise she would not argue.

I like Chanelle. I think she is a graet girl.....Insecurities or not.......

Charley is annoying but I cannot say I dislike her...She would drive me up the wall but deep down there is a nice side to Charley. The left side I think.......:bigsmile:

I am a HUGE Charley fan, but I still like Chanelle so not all Charley fans hate Chanelle and vice versa.

I don't think they're similar at all. Charley is just a generally sour person always looking to pick fights with people. Whereas Chanelle, although having her own 'off days', is a much kinder and considerate person and certainly does not go around the house manipulating people and starting rows.

I agree they both have the same vain, and insecure traits. But the difference to me is that, Charley has done everything she can, to have a decent relationship with Chanelle. From the beginning. But |Chanelle never tried, and was always worried that Ziggy likes Charley. And she resents her because of that. Its that simple to me, everything comes from that.

I like Dali. But I wouldn't have wanted to live with him. The BB hm's live in a little box in the corner of my living room. They only come out to play when I want them to.

Also I could understand some of chanelles tantrums. If I had to live with charley, I'd be the same!

I think Chanelle and Charley are two fundamentally different types of people, but both have their qualities. On the whole, Charley is rash, at times aggressive in her demeanor and often brutally honest. Chanelle is calm, calculated and rarely gives anything away (for all her 'tantrums', I don't think we often hear Chanelle vent genuine frustrations, she tends to stick to a sugar coated version, in my opinion).

I wouldn't agree. If making a good relationship is meeting someone halfway, I'd say Charley went about 1/8th of the way whilst Chanelle didn't bother. It's not as if Charley was already at the halfway point, waiting for Chanelle to get her act together.

I don't see how people see Chanelle as this angelic nice person she is very much far from. The thing I find is Charley seems very upfront and in a way you know where you stand with her more so than Chanelle. Chanelle comes across to me as very sly and manipulative yet very inteligent in the way she can switch things around on whoever she is argueing with. Charley understands that she is arguementative and always looking in the mirror where as Chanelle never admits her actions or accepts that maybe she is just as equal to blame in some situations.

The thing I like in Charley is that she doesn't really dwell on things and that is a good trait to have in my opinion unlike Chanelle who really can't let things go for some reason. Chanelle brings everything back around to Charley and thinks she is to blame for everything which is a really stupid attitude to have.
