This may sound harsh but ive said it before in another thread, I enjoyed Big Brother a lot more before I joined up to TiBB.

Its fun to discuss Big Brother and all the other things we do, but some of the people that come on and just repeat themsleves and say stuff like 'oh chanelle is such a slut init kkthnx' and stuff, it just puts me off everything.

In BB5 i had no idea Michelle was disliked, same with Tania in BB4, and it was much more enjoyable experience just watching the show and having my own opinions.

So yeah, anyone agree?

Yeah I understand what your saying but I think its really good to see people being loyal to their fave HMs through thick and thin......even when theres about 10 threads really abusing them :bawling:
Its interesting?

Everyone will have a favourite housemate, it would be boring if we all liked the same people.

I have to agree with Spitfire though, if TiBB ruined my BB experience I wouldn't be on here.

I think it's just cos as time goes on I like BB less, it just so happens that I'm on TiBB in that time. I don't think they're connected though.

I've been on TiBB since BB6 and not enjoyed BB6, BB7 or BB8 as much as I did BB2, BB3 and BB5 but I think that's just because they are my favourite series, BB2 and BB3 had the most normality mixed with good twists and BB5 had Victor and Michelle, and good twists.

I don't understand. If being on TiBB makes you enjoy BB less, why do you still come on here? I'm not being confrontational and I'm not trying to be rude, but why keep on doing something that is detracting from your enjoyment of BB?

Plus, why is it a big deal to find out that certain housemates are unpopular? On a forum such as this one, you're bound to have many different opinions.

I found BB less predictable before i joined here since i didn't know what people thought, i love tibb and i love bb, i couldn't go without them, but i didn't like knowing my favorites were hated when i first joined but i got over that, i guess its a forum and people are entitled to have there own opinions.

Its addictive. You may like Big Bro less but you might like the forum a lot more???

Anyway for me the internet as a whole sort of grounded the Big Bro experience for me as I knew virtually nothing about the past of the show when I started watching BB7 last year - it was much better that way. Now I know virtually everything about BB and the magic is sort of gone.

Yes, I take your point Stu - it was just that in the original post, it looked as though Chrizzle was saying that he didn't enjoy coming on here very much, and I was just asking why he would keep coming on if he didn't enjoy it. I probably misunderstood his post.

I think its not so much the forum , rather than it is the longer youve been watching it - the more understanding you gain as to how the show works

I watched BB Before finding TiBB.. it made my love for BB grow more so all those years back. I love TiBB, if we all liked the same people and said the same thing it would be very boring.... just like BB will be once Charley's gone  lol!.... I don't think I'll ever stop liking TiBB.. even when the show is over.

This may sound harsh - but I've hated BB since I joined...I'm not saying it's the forum, it may be because I used to love it a lot, and I've just grown out of that obsession. But it will be partly because of certain people who just ruin so it's fun for them, but not anybody else. Haven't watched a full series since BB6.

I don't think I've watched BB8 in weeks.

It hasn't really made my enjoyment any difference. I wasn't here for BB5 or the majority of BB6 but I still enjoyed both those series I just unaware what everyone thought of my favourites.

I enjoyed it more before TiBB. It was nice being surprised in the evictions and getting frustrated because heaps of people dislike your favourite.

If anything it's the childish and ignorant people on the forum who annoy me, who think just because they don't like a housemate, everyone else has to hate that housemate too. It doesn't neccesarily make me dislike BB more but I just prefered it without really childish opinions and responses towards the show.
