That sounds like great news Kristen.
It is nice when someone goes out of their way to be friendly to you, when they were not before.
Edited by Sunny_01 - not really any need for that kind of comment Nick
But whatever happens, it may work for someone.

I apologise Mrluvaluva, I just got a bit angry for a second when I was making that post. Simply because, I felt that nobody should have fallen out with Kristen ever.
She is a lovely member of this forum and I am glad to have her as a friend , which we have been for many months and it will continue too, always.
But, I just hoped it was a sincere gesture all round and that this forum can get back to the normality it was, before the fall out over Kristen, which wasn't necessary.
Like I said, I over-stepped the mark in this thread, but it was a rash move and many are guilty of that, especially when friends are involved:- My friend Kristen.
I hope that is understood, sincerely:thumbs:

The new thing with topics when a discussion starts that poses the threat of being intellectually stimulating is to put a silent bullet in the topics head.

Nothing to do with that, they were removed because they and other posts were not going to do anything positive to add to this thread

In fairness some threads in the serious debates section are asking for a lock I suppose , but serious debates = serious opinions :joker:.
Opinions are both the greatest and worst things on forums

Aye, and some are pruned in the name of forum harmony, which I don't tend to agree with as it's opinion censorship. However, I don't run this place - which is just as well really.
I once ran a wrestling forum that lasted 6 days because I eventually started banning all the members by picking their names out of a hat at random.

Thumbs up to harmony, and down with disharmony. There should be no disharmony around here.
