Well she died 6 years ago on the 25rd august mabe thats why.

well in her worldwide sales she has sold 34 million albums she had 1 number 1 single more than a woman in the UK and she was in two movies Romeo must die and Queen of the Damned she was much more known in america than england i think i dont know really.

I love her!!! I made a thread ages a go with all her music videos.. and that. I have all her albums and dvds. Mark she was really big in america when she was alive

Yeah, but her death gave her music more attention around the world.

She was so incredible!!!
Timbaland did a remix of one of her songs and did a small tribute at the Justin Timberlake concert.
Everyone cheered dead loud.
She was amazing......

aaliyah was one of the best rn'b singers of all times she was BIG way b4 her death i loved all of her songs and she was so beautiful RIP baby gurl I MISS U!!!
