Why does there have to be a hate figure?

1st it was Shabnam- for what reason, I do not know, because she actually talked about the 'deal' openly instead of pretending she was there for the 'experience'. They're all in it for the fame, she was just truthful

Then there wasBillie- for being 'creepy' and having a 'gamplan', well hate to say it but they all have a game plan, it's a gameshow. They don't want to be booted off so they'll do what they have to to stay in

Next up we have Charley- the most interesting and entertaining of the series, but we had to let her go too. She just thought she was too nice- well so what she was quite good looking with a wicked figure compared to most of the country(and we all know that's true but know1 will like it).

Now Chanelle- who, last week was 'so much better than charley', but now you all say she's obsessive and insecure. I would be too if i'd been used for sex and fame by a real creep who had no intention of sticking with me.

:laugh2:

There's always a hate figure because Endemol always pick someone to be a hate figure. When you look at the housemates, you can see the way they have picked their 'cast'. They know that the audience like to have someone to hate. A house full of nice people, sadly does not make good viewing.

thank you. but BB may aswell do just that because no other HM with a glimps of personality/character will win it. the public like who they relate to. maybe next year (if there is a BB) they can just put in people like charley, chanelle, saskia, makosi, maxwell, sezer, science, victor etc...

Its throwing christians to the lions syndrome.

the crowd bays for blood, and the "emperor" wants to please his subjects.

Nothing has really changed - except now the contestants don't get eaten.

Some may say "unfortunately", and there have been times in the last two seasons where I would agree :joker:

I just find it so funny how, last week on this forum loads of you were saying how great Chanelle was and how badly she'd been treated by Zigs. This week, however, Charlie's gone, so ummmmmmm who can we hate now.....I know.....Chanelle. Think about what you were saying last week x

I haven't even been watching this years BB, so I haven't been commenting on Charley or Chanelle!

oh, yep- Chanelle's gone, driven out by Zigs (who I can't understand why he isn't a hate figure- he manipulated her out), now Carole. oh ok, my point is proven x

I would not go as far as to say I hate her but I do dislike her A LOT. She is vile and manipulative
