I haven't used faceparty for years but when I did it was just a simple profile website - none of this webcam malarkey? Is this just newly implemented?

Yeah Ann, glad you left - it's become bottom of the barrel in terms of profile sites. It's where the lowest of the low go.

I think web cam sex is fun aslong as its two consenting overage adults.
But somplace like faceparty, which is a public place where children are online should be diallowed. Its disgusting.

I have just watched the news and they are saying that you have to be 16-18 to join the site but they are joining from the age of 10-11 years old how bad is that

The whole age thing is a farce. It's really just there to protect who ever the site belongs to: "Well, it's not our fault that happened to them, they pretended to be 16..blah blah blah"

I mean...there's a service on FP that's meant to show you're an adult (18) but anyone can buy it...even those showing that they're 16.

if they allow that sort of thing to go on should be closed down . the internet has a lot to answer to.

Your not wrong there either thats why you have to watch your kids on it to make sure they are safe too :conf2:

For goodness' sake. I haven't used Faceparty for years but HELLO? where are these kids' parents when they're posing on webcam?! People are too quick to blame the site when that's where you'll find warnings and restrictions!

inthefade ive just read your post and do you know I totally agree with what youve just said there as you pointed out why blame the site for when the parents should watch what their children are going on the internet at certain ages now for inststance my sister wont allow her children to have a pc in their rooms its downstairs so she can keep an eye on them but there is children out there that have a pc in their rooms where mums dont know what they are doing so well thought of there inthefade

we have a games room with our computer in it and thers always one parent in the room playing on x box or somrthing else so we are aware what our children are doung. so its the parents responsibilty at the end of the day to monitor their children and telling them about differnt sites not to go on.
