SIMON COWELL’S long-awaited X Factor movie is to be called Star Struck.
The TV mogul revealed it will be about the lives of ten contestants on a singing reality show.
Simon, who will produce the Hollywood film, said: “We want it to be the musical version of Rocky – an underdog story, a feel-good film.”
Inspired by Alan Parker’s classic 1980 film Fame, he said: “Fame was about young people wanting to be famous – 25 years later those who want to be famous sign up for American Idol.”
It’ll be in cinemas next summer.
