BB babe Chanelle is poised to carve out a pop career — and go one better than her former idol Posh Spice.

The 19-year-old student has already written her own song, which has been tipped as a potential No1.

The news comes a day after talented musician Chanelle — voted housemate most likely to have a hit record — told The Sun she no longer wants to model herself on Victoria Beckham.

That’s just as well if she wants a successful solo career!

Chanelle’s mum Christine revealed: “I saw her old music teacher last week and he told me about a song Chanelle wrote about three years ago.

“He said it is really good — and if she wants to do something with the song, he will help her with it.” Christine, 54, added: “Chanelle’s very good at music.

“She’s an A* student and plays the violin at Grade Seven. She is always singing at home.”

Last month, BB fans voted Chanelle the housemate most likely to see chart success.

She has continued to be popular with the show’s fans despite quitting BB over her rows with on-off lover Ziggy earlier this week.

Christine, of Wakefield, West Yorks, told how strangers have approached her daughter in the street offering congratulations.

She said: “People come up and have a chat about how she’s getting on. Everyone’s really supportive.

“She seems much happier now and more like herself.”

A hit would also see Chanelle get one over on Ziggy, 26, who failed to achieve fame in a string of flop boybands.

Christine said pointedly: “Hopefully a duet with him WON’T be on the cards.”

I can understand "getting one over on Charley" (although she has already done that by leaving the house in the same week to take away the spotlight).

But Ziggy has done nothing wrong, so that part didn't make sense.

This won't happen. Her music teacher just wants to make a bit of money out of her 5 minutes of fame and the chances of the song being any good are remote.

Even Pete never got anywhere with his song.

The only success she's gonna have is in lads mags getting her kit off because she doesn't actually have any real talent.
