I am not judging anyone, but I cant believe that arguably the nicest guy in the house has become the least favorite housemate. He is the only male in there not acting cocky or sexist (Liam, zigg), the only person to give amy a chance when she came in hated by everyone, and the one that offers the most amount of laughs and support to the other housemates. Now, I have asked myself why is it that right after Charley leaves (the LFH for all the weeks) all of a sudden it has become Brian(keep in mind that before that he was on the bottom of the list). And I am sure some of you guys who read this post have voted for him, since its the tibb poll).
Can anyone expain this to me. Is it because people all of a sudden realise he is favorite and might actually win, they cant bear the thought of that happening? Should people really look temselves in the mirror and wonder why they went from hating Charley, to hating Brian?

Yeah I like Brian but I was that way with Pete last year as I thought entertainment wise Glyn was better and he was just getting the sympathy vote.

To be fair Brian has been the most entertaining this year.

I'd say about 50% are just lashing out and the rest genuinely dont like him.

I completely disagree with the bitter charley fan angle. If anything bitter charley fan as you call it, would vote for Gerry. I have nothing against Brian, I quite like him, and never in a million years would I make him my least favorite. My point to this thread though is not so much as Brian is the least favorite, fair enough if you dont like him, but the fact that he has litterally went from the bottom of that list to the top, in one week, and that coincides exactly with the departure of Charley!

Brian may be a nice guy. He supports other housemates when they are stressed....Nice quality. But then so does Gerrey.

He has no way done enough to be a deserving winner. However Brian is the chosen one from the producers point of view. Those that see BBLB and BBBM will be well aware of the Brian daily chant to auto suggest the name Brian and winner one after the other.

I find it weird and quite disturbing to be honest. I would have never expected that. The difference between internet polls, and the people who keeps yelling we love brian out there, is that internet people can actually vote, without anyone seeing who they are. In that case they will vote from their heart. But for those in front of TV saying Brian to win, will always reamin politically correct. Thats why I dont think he will win, because when it goes down to the public vote, some of the voters who claim to love Brian in public, will do what their hearts tell them when it comes down to it

Just because someone is the most popular doesn't mean there's nothing to dislike about them.

I like Brian, but I can see that some people would dislike him because of the tedious act. I checked out the logs for the polls (it records every IP address) and there are suspicious blocks of votes in the least favourite poll from btcentralplus.com (BT Internet) for Brian and also to a lesser extent Liam. I'd say that about 65 - 70 votes for Brian shouldn't be counted. All different IP addresses but votes made too close together.

It also looks like Sam and Amanda's vote counts have been artificially boosted in the favourite poll - probably by a similar amount.

I've closed the polls and will open new ones later... any multiple votes will be discounted.

BTW, the forum logs IP addresses also so votes can be checked against that also. You know who you are. :nono:
