12 housemates, 9 weeks, normal nominations and we decide who is evicted.

No twists, no new housemates. BB, the way it should be.

If the producer get the right mix of housemates it would work.

I disagree - going back to basics is what could kill the show. There need to be less twists/new housemates, but ridding the show of them completely can only be bad news...

But viewers expect twists. They would tune out without them

I disagree/agree.

You need at least one twist, one big twist for eg the bedsit.
I like the idea of normal nominations.

But not 9 weeks

It worked very well for BB2. It was one of the most original and best series yet.

Bringing BB back to basics would be one of the biggest twists BB could do.

I'd like 10 weeks,1 new housemate and twists that don't confuse everyone.

Yep, that's the way it should be done. As long as they make a good selection of housemates, then no problem with that at all.

One or two *original* twists would be OK though, Maybe 10 weeks instead of 9, and after this year I think there should probably be a Vote to save rather than evict. And sack Dermot O' Leary and bring back Russell.

I would definitely like next year to be more simple.

They need to be fair but strict with punishments as well. Too many people have gotten away with rule-breaks this year, and people who break the same rule get completely different punishments, some lighter than others.

Aaron's idea could work but people will be bored, great cast or not. The public has the habit to have twists and turns, something to talk about, if ithere is nothing it won't be interesting. We aren't in 2002, the publoc loved to see a normal BB but now we can't watch it without any great surprises.

My idea:
18 housemates.
12 weeks.
5 twists.
4 new housemates.
Final 4.
No prize money, they have to earn it during the game.

By tasks and mission like in BB Australia. If they do something wrong, they will get fines. :spin:

i want .....

a emotion room-

the emotion room will be located at the back of the garden though 2 double doors made out of glass, when you walk in it's the size of the BB8 bathroom, there will a plasma screen on the wall and corner sofa in the corner a punching bag and gloves a mini frigde with confort food in it! on the wall will be picks of different smileys; a smiley face, a sad face, angry and so on on the floor tiles that would light up with the diffenent emotion! also the room would light up just like the BB7 living room to what type of emotion it is!

big brother will open the emotion room when he/she wants

well what do you think???

That's a great idea Double, a remix of the happy Room but this time the housemate can decide which mood he/she wants to be. Wicked ! :spin2:

Other idea !!
The exile room: All the housemates are up, the public decided which 4 housemates have to be exiled in a special room. The others will watch them on the plasma screen during 2 weeks while the "exilees" have some psychological tests, tasks, hard decisions, slop ....
Big Brother told the exilees there is a twist: the only housemate to remain in the house will come back and the 3 others will be evicted.
However, what the exilees don't know is that in fact, the contrary will happen. The last housemate remaining in the 'exile room" will be evicted. The 3 others will come back in the house.

This twist will last for a duration of 2 weeks. They can't leave the room except if they fail a task.

It worked very well for BB2.

Yeah - in 2001. This is 2007. We have been spoilt and entertained by countless twists. We need a new format. Going back to basics is only going to make the hole in the ship bigger.

Captain.Remy

I agree with Stu, now people want twists and turns, new housemates because they are bored at a certain point. A "Back To Basics" has worked in Germany because BB aired during 2 years and the format was completely different: a house divided in 3 houses and a big village.
It won't work in UK because we didn't have seen a format change.

well hopfuly bb will move from elstree

because then they can build a brand new house with new foundations so they can do loads of new things i don't think they can if they stay at elstree
