you know when you watch videos say on abc.com, its an american site so you cant watch episodes cause your out side of the usa, does anyone know how to go around that so they think your in usa? i.e. ur settings on the laptop/pc?
any help appreciated x X x

Yes, that works, but it's expensive. I would think buying the DVDs might work out cheaper in the long run. :thumbs:

I think it might be possible to change your IP address, but I don't know what you should change it to in order to make it more beneficial, or anything like that.

Wouldn't work. It's the modem that holds the IP address.
A proxy is a good idea.

It's a means of connecting to a different server in order to obtain whatever it is you require (i.e. a site, file etc.) I'm sure if you did a search on Google you'd get a more thorough explanation - personally I've not had the need to have any experience with proxy servers, but it seems to be your best bet at the moment.
