Gerry cries over back injury

Gerry has struggled to decide if he physically able to take part in today's 'Guru' task because of his injured back.

In the bedroom, the twins massaged him as he explained: "I'll stay in bed for a little bit and I'll be fine."

He then began to worry about today's task - knowing that it is a physical - saying: "I was really enjoying myself. I was having so much fun, it was the best task ever."

After Big Brother unveiled the obstacle course, Gerry became depressed and complained: "If I participate I might jeopardise my back."

In the bathroom he cried alone, telling himself: "I came here to be strong. I didn't come here to watch other people being strong... I'm so unlucky, I pulled a muscle the day before a physical task."

I once had my back go at work when I was asked to carry a package from Goods Inwards up a steep car park.

They are not pleasant.

Not only that, but who narrates their own crying?

If it were anything more than a bid for public sympathy, he wouldn't go off to cry 'alone' in the bathroom and then warble off a long paragraph about his misery.
