Mr Nasty is scared of mothers
SIMON Cowell locks himself in his dressing room after X Factor auditions — because he is scared of rejected contestants’ mums.
He revealed many hopefuls take a no vote badly and when they’re out of the way of microphones they go “ballistic”.
The show’s Mr Nasty told the Radio Times about his way of avoiding parents.
Then he added: “I wait until the coast is clear then I get out of there. There’s nothing worse than when you’ve got a mother shouting at you.”
Cowell even reckons that if he didn’t have an ever-present security guard he’d have been “punched in the mouth”.
The acid-tongued TV star has also admitted that choreographer Brian Friedman was given the sack from the X Factor judges panel because he didn’t fit in.
Cowell said: “I can’t say I was the biggest supporter of him in the first place.”
The show returns to ITV1 on Saturday.
